Mara Marich – Branding and Strategic Advisor: Mara has over 20 years experience both as Strategist and Writer/ Producer, focusing on the worlds of entertainment, pop culture and technology. She has worked in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific for tv networks, multimedia corporations and communication companies. An Emmy-nominated director/ producer/ writer and Cable Ace winning writer, Mara is an alumnus of MTV New York’s famed on-air promos team, instrumental in crafting many campaigns and garnering multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze Broadcast Design Awards as well as the Gold Worldfest Houston award for her collaboration with art superstar Barbara Kruger.
David Fagenson – CFO: David currently works as EVP Global Investments at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America in West Palm Beach, where he manages hundreds of millions in assets for families around the world. He helped bring U2’s Elevation Partners and Martha Stewart Omnimedia public, among other ventures.
Travis Granfar – Executive Producer: Travis is a corporate lawyer who found life [again] in the creative and technology fields. After launching three technology companies in Silicon Valley, Travis took his lifelong interest in television and advertising and has helped JAKE INC win business with Coke, Denny’s and Overstock.com. He is responsible for guiding THE EDGE toward a new voice and direction which has increased ratings since its syndicated debut in 2009.
Dave Steck – Executive Producer: Dave Steck, an industry veteran, has overseen production for Comedy Central, ABC, BBC, Columbia Tri-Star, IFC, Miramax, MTV, NBC, Nickelodeon, NHK, Publicis, Sony and Viacom. His production and creative skills have been recognized with numerous awards including an Emmy Award nomination and a Webby Award for “Best Broadband Comedy Series,” as well as multiple Telly Awards.
Jeffrey Eisenberg – Executive Producer: Jeffrey Eisenberg is a multi-media executive experienced in development, production and marketing for the entertainment industry. He has a proven track record creating programming and sponsorship opportunities for broadcast and cable initiatives including a stint at Jack Morton Worldwide, a division of Interpublic. Previously Jeff has served as an Executive in Charge at ABC Daytime and V.P. and Executive Producer at WEtv.
Mark Schulman – 3Arts Entertainment – Manager: Mark works at the 3Arts Entertainment and oversees the careers of Rainn Wilson and Mario Lopez and successfully launched Chelsea Handler and Tyra Banks. 3Arts is responsible for producing “The Office,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and the Austin Powers series.
Sandy Fox, Zeke Lopez, Barr Potter – Chief Counsel: Sandy, Zeke and Barr operate as legal counsel for JAKE INC and also advise as business consultants. Collectively, they oversee Tupac’s estate, license deals with the Blue Collar Comedy members, and look after Jennifer Lopez and Roseanne Barr. They’ve worked as entrepreneurs and as heads of multi-million dollar production companies.
Michael Delaney – Head Writer: Delaney is a founding member of UCB with Amy Poehler, and is co-writer to Will Ferrell’s most recent Broadway show and Ferrell’s most recent comedy, which is due out in August 2010.
David Steinfeld – SVP Syndication: David is a powerhouse in television syndication. He put THE EDGE on the air in 55 markets and grew our household reach to .5 million households per month. He joins Jake Inc. after years in syndication at MGM and Viacom. He also secured international distribution rights for Saturday Night Live.
Annie Gordon and Dean McCormick – SVP Sales and Relationships: The sales duo come with 30+ years experience working in advertising agencies, sales, production and syndication.
